Lancaster, Pa – Barley Snyder is pleased to announce attorney Brandon R. Griest has been named to the board of directors of the Pennsylvania Furniture Mission (PFM).
A non-profit organization located in Columbia, Pa., the Pennsylvania Furniture Mission works to provide gently used furniture at no cost to individuals and families facing economic challenges. Since its opening in June 2023, PFM has collaborated with existing nonprofits within the area to furnish over 330 homes across South Central Pennsylvania. In addition to helping those in need of furniture, PFM also offers job training for local youth, creates job opportunities, and rehomes items that would otherwise go to waste.
“I am honored to contribute to an organization that not only recognizes the growing needs in our community but is taking steps to become the solution,” said Griest. “I look forward to furthering PFM’s mission of creating safe spaces for individuals and families struggling financially.”
Griest is a member of Barley Snyder’s Litigation Practice Group where he regularly represents clients in state and federal trial courts as well as appellate courts. He aggressively pursues the interest of his clients and helps them navigate the legal system from pre-complaint strategy through successful trial strategy. Dedicated to his community, Griest currently serves as a member of the Rotary Club of Lancaster-South and LancasterHistory. The Lancaster County native also volunteers with the Wills for Heroes program.
