Lancaster, Pa. – Barley Snyder is pleased to announce that attorney Lindsey Cook has been named to the board of directors at Child Care Consultants, Inc.
Child Care Consultants is a nonprofit child care resource based in York, serving Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry and York counties. It ensures that all families have access to affordable, high quality child care choices that lead to success in school and life, according to its website.
“Safe, affordable child care is something many people take for granted,” Cook said. “But there are many families that struggle with being able to trust their children to be cared for in a responsible manner while they work. It’s a societal issue that when its solved, can help children grow up with more opportunities to flourish in whatever they choose. I’m very happy to be able to help guide this organization in its mission.”
Cook is an attorney in the Barley Snyder Litigation Practice Group and is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law. In addition to her work with Child Care Consultants, the Coalition for Smart Growth in Lancaster County named her a member of its board of directors in 2019. She also graduated from Leadership Lancaster in 2019 and is a Lancaster County native.
