Lancaster, Pa. – Barley Snyder is pleased to announce that attorney Elizabeth G. Vanasse has been appointed to the Lancaster Law Foundation’s Board of Directors.

The Lancaster Law Foundation (LLF) is the charitable arm of the Lancaster Bar Association, a professional organization consisting of almost 800 judges, attorneys, and legal professionals in Lancaster County. The LLF is dedicated to promoting equal access to justice within Lancaster County by funding public interest law projects, delivering pro bono service, and educating the public on civic and legal issues. A key component of its work is the Community Grants Program, which supports local nonprofit organizations providing vital legal services.

“It is a privilege to serve on the board of the Lancaster Law Foundation whose efforts continue to enrich the community that I have always called home,” said Vanasse. “I am excited to collaborate with such a talented group of professionals to further LLF’s mission, advancing both access to justice and community development.”

Attorney Amanda Kowalski, who serves as president of the LLF’s Board of Directors, expressed her enthusiasm about Vanasse’s appointment, stating: “We are excited to welcome Elizabeth to the Board. Her experience and strong ties to the Lancaster community will make her a great addition, and we look forward to working together to further the foundation’s important mission.”

Vanasse is member of the Barley Snyder’s Real Estate and Business practice groups, concentrating her practice in the areas of real estate, zoning and land use. The Lancaster native is passionate about helping developers and other real estate professionals create housing and businesses that fill the needs of the community. In addition to her new role with LLF, she currently serves as co-chair for the Lancaster Bar Association’s Real Estate Section.
