For Immediate Release
Reading, Pa. – Barley Snyder is pleased to announce attorney EmmaRose Strohl has been elected Chair of the Berks Community Television’s (BCTV) Board of Directors. Strohl has served as Vice Chair of BCTV since July 2023 and began her term as Chair on July 1, 2024.
BCTV is a nonprofit community media organization serving Berks County citizens and is one of the oldest, consistently active cable access managers in the United States. Its mission – made possible thanks to volunteers serving as hosts, producers, camera operators, guest speakers and in other roles – is to empower people and engage community through media.
“Being elected to lead the Board of Directors of BCTV, Berks County’s source for community news and educational programs and the hub for bringing the community together, is a great honor and a humbling responsibility,” said Strohl. “I am excited to work with Heather Adams, the dynamic executive director, Trish Shermot, Vice Chair of the BCTV Board and a true community champion, and the rest of the board of directors to continue advancing the mission of BCTV as a resource for my neighbors here in Berks County.”
Strohl is a key member of Barley Snyder’s Food & Agribusiness Industry Group, helping clients navigate compliance issues with state and federal agencies and advising on regulations in food processing, manufacturing and distribution. She also dedicates a portion of her practice to estate planning. In 2024, Strohl was named to the Lehigh Valley Business “Women to Watch” list and the Pennsylvania Rising Stars list. Active in her community, Strohl serves in various roles including: Vice Chair of Pennsylvania’s Americana Region, Secretary of PA Eats, Governance Council Member of the Greater Reading Chamber Alliance’s Women2Women and member of Marian Catholic High School’s Advancement Committee.
