Lancaster, Pa. – Barley Snyder is pleased to announce that attorney John “J.” Quain has been named Chair of the Dauphin County Bar Association‘s (DCBA) Young Lawyers Section (YLS).
The DCBA is a dynamic community of over 1,450 attorneys dedicated to advancing public service, professional development and fostering personal connections. The Young Lawyers Section plays a vital role in supporting emerging attorneys by providing them with valuable resources, educational programs, public service initiatives, and networking opportunities to help them succeed in their careers. In his new role, Quain builds upon his prior leadership experience, having served as Chair-Elect, Secretary, Treasurer and Social Committee Chair. As Chair, Quain will also hold a position as an officer on the DCBA’s Board of Directors, where he will continue to contribute to the association’s mission and growth.

Quain is a member of Barley Snyder’s Litigation and Creditors’ Rights practice groups. He focuses his practice on advising clients in matters pertaining to breach of contract, real estate, landlord and tenant litigation as well as bankruptcy and debt collection. In addition to his extensive involvement with the DCBA, Quain serves as secretary and legal counsel for the Historic Harrisburg Association and is a dedicated advocate for the region’s historical preservation.
