Barley Snyder Attorney John Quain Named Chair-Elect of the Dauphin County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section

Lancaster, Pa. – Barley Snyder is pleased to announce that the Dauphin County Bar Association (DCBA) has named attorney John “J.” Quain Chair-Elect of its Young Lawyers Section

The DCBA is a professional organization with over 1,450 lawyers involved in various programs of public service, professional development and personal interaction. The Young Lawyers Section was founded in 1976 and created for young lawyers to partake in social functions to spur networking opportunities. Quain’s new role with the Young Lawyers Section comes after serving as secretary, treasurer and social committee chair. As Chair-Elect of the Young Lawyer’s Section, Quain will also serve as an officer on the board of directors of the DCBA. This well-deserved appointment reflects his ongoing commitment to mentoring young lawyers and his dedication to serving those in his local community.

“I am truly honored to be named Chair-Elect of the Dauphin County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section. This role presents an incredible opportunity to collaborate with fellow professionals and contribute to Dauphin County’s bar membership landscape,” said Quain.

Quain is an attorney in Barley Snyder’s Litigation and Creditors’ Rights practice groups. His practice focuses on matters including breach of contract, real estate, and landlord tenant litigation. He also represents creditors in bankruptcy matters and helps clients including contractors, corporate landlords and leasing companies on collection efforts. In addition to his involvement with the DCBA, Quain serves as secretary of the board of directors for the Historic Harrisburg Association and frequently volunteers with the Pennsylvania Immigration Resource Center.
