Malvern, Pa. – The West Chester Area Education Foundation has appointed Barley Snyder attorney Kevin C. Myhre to its board of directors.
The foundation is an independent, nonprofit organization that attracts private resources exclusively for the benefit of students in the West Chester Area School District, according to its website. Myhre is a graduate of the district.
“I’m thrilled to be able to help the students of the West Chester Area School District,” Myhre said. “I owe a great deal to the district, and with my children recently starting in the district, it makes it all the more important to me.”
His term on the board is scheduled to end in 2024.
Myhre is a patent attorney in the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group. He is a former member of the board of directors at the Chester County Council of Boy Scouts and is a 2018 graduate of Leadership Chester County.
