Lebanon, Pa. – Attorney Megan Ryland Tanner has been appointed to the Salvation Army Lebanon Corps Board of Directors.
The Salvation Army is an international charity organization helping millions overcome poverty, addiction, and spiritual and economic hardships in more than 130 countries. At the Salvation Army Lebanon Corps, staff and volunteers offer a variety of services and programs to help the local community such as emergency food solutions, emergency disaster assistance, enrichment classes for children and more. Tanner’s appointment continues Barley Snyder’s history of support for the organization and its dedication to “doing the most good” for society.
“My family has been involved with the amazing efforts of the Salvation Army for many years,” said Tanner. “To be given the opportunity to serve on the board of this impactful organization is a great honor. I look forward to continuing the mission of the Salvation Army throughout the Lebanon community.”
Tanner is a member of the firm’s Business and Real Estate practice groups with more than 20 years of experience. In her law practice, she assists clients with entity formations and agreements including liability, operations and indemnification. She also frequently handles liquor license matters and business sales for both buyers and sellers in in the region in addition to real estate closings and sales agreements.
A life-long resident of Lebanon County, Tanner is committed to making a difference in her community. She is involved with Leadership Lebanon Valley’s Justice Day Program volunteering with its annual mock trial and serving as a presenter. She frequently presents at career development days at schools throughout Lebanon County, providing career guidance for children. Tanner also volunteers her time to other Lebanon-based organizations. Prior to working in private practice, Megan served in the Lebanon County District Attorney’s Office as Senior Deputy District Attorney.
