Lebanon, Pa. – Attorney Megan Ryland Tanner has been appointed to the Lebanon Community Library’s Board of Trustees.

The nonprofit works towards inspiring the love of learning and literature through various programs and resources, including story times, Summer Learning programs, Writers’ Groups and more. In addition, the library works to bring together community members through different events throughout the year.

“I am thrilled to join the Lebanon Community library’s board and contribute to its positive impact,” said Tanner. “I look forward to using my experience and passion to help support the library’s mission. For example, in my role, I will be assisting with important fundraising efforts which enable the library to offer its abundance of free community resources.”

In her law practice, she assists clients with entity formations and agreements including liability, operations and indemnification. She also frequently handles liquor license matters and business sales for both buyers and sellers in addition to real estate closings and sales agreements.

She currently sits on the board of directors of the Salvation Army Lebanon Corps and the Lebanon County Bar Association. She serves as a volunteer and presenter for the Leadership Lebanon Valley Justice Day Program in addition to regularly presenting at career development days at local schools.

“We rely on our trustees to provide their viewpoints, expertise, and passion for education and access to information for all in our community,” said Michelle Hawk, Executive Director of the Lebanon Community Library. “We’re excited to have Megan join the board of trustees of the Lebanon Community Library.”
