Reading, Pa. – Barley Snyder is pleased to announce Berks Catholic High School has named partner Thad M. Gelsinger to serve on its board of directors.
Founded in 2011 after the merger of Central Catholic High School and Holy Name High School, Berks Catholic High School is committed to fostering academic excellence and providing athletic and extracurricular opportunities for its students. Its focus on spiritual, academic, social, and emotional growth aims to provide a supportive and fruitful environment, according to its website.
A 2001 graduate of Holy Name High School, Gelsinger has remained involved with his alma mater. He has presented at annual career days and spoke to numerous senior classes about their new legal rights and responsibilities as they enter adulthood.
“I am thrilled to be given the opportunity to further my involvement with Berks Catholic High School,” said Gelsinger. “I look forward to advancing the school’s mission and supporting the enrichment of the student body.’
Gelsinger is a member of Barley Snyder’s Litigation Practice Group, focusing his practice on commercial, fiduciary, and personal injury litigation. He has more than a decade of experience helping both business and individual clients successfully resolve their litigation matters. In addition, Gelsinger is a qualified mediator/arbitrator through the Berks County Bar Association’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Program.

In 2022, Gelsinger was named to the Lehigh Valley Business Forty Under 40 list based on his professional accomplishments, community service and commitment to inspiring change. He has previously served as a board member and president of the Greater Reading Young Professionals, a board member of the Berks County Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association, and a board member of the Greater Reading Economic Partnership.
