Lancaster, Pa. – Two Barley Snyder attorneys have been appointed to new leadership positions with the Lancaster Bar Association.
Attorney Luke Weber has been reelected as treasurer after serving in the position since 2021. He previously served on the board as chair of the Lancaster Bar Association Young Lawyers Section in 2020.
“I look forward to my third year serving as the treasurer for the Lancaster Bar Association,” said Weber. “We have a great local bar of attorneys and an energetic and forward-thinking executive director, in Lisa Driendl-Miller. It’s a privilege to play a role in advancing the LBA’s missions and evolving to serve our members and community in today’s challenges.”
Weber is a trial attorney in the firm’s Litigation and Health Care groups. He devotes a substantial portion of his practice to defending doctors, hospitals and other health care professionals against medical malpractice claims. Weber also represents clients in commercial cases involving contract and business disputes.
The bar association also appointed attorney Reilly Noetzel to the Judiciary Committee which is responsible for developing and implementing a judicial evaluation process consistent for candidates to the Court of Common Pleas of Lancaster County. Noetzel is the former chair of the Municipal, Zoning and Environmental Law Section.
“I am so honored to serve an organization that builds a strong community and provides a fair administration of justice for those who live in Lancaster County,” said Noetzel. “I look forward to helping the Judiciary Committee oversee important legislative issues and more in this next chapter.”
Noetzel is an attorney in the firm’s Real Estate, Land Use, Construction, Environment & Energy, and Municipal groups. He represents clients in all aspects of their real estate transactions and developments with a particular focus on land use and development, construction and regulatory matters as well as leasing.
