Lancaster, Pa. – Barley Snyder welcomes two former summer associates as the firm’s two newest attorney hires.
Eric M. Ondo and Katelyn E. Rohrbaugh started at the firm as attorneys on Oct. 13. Both of them worked at the firm as summer associates during the summer of 2019. Rohrbaugh worked as a law clerk in the firm’s York office in 2020 as she completed her final year of law school.
Ondo is a cum laude Penn State Law graduate who worked as a senior editor of the school’s Arbitration Law Review and was a certified legal intern at the Penn State Family Law Clinic, working directly with clients. He also donated pro bono services drafting trusts and estates documents for senior citizens in Centre County. A Dickinson College alum and Lebanon County native, he’s also worked as an intern with the Pennsylvania Office of General Counsel, aiding the Pennsylvania Department of State’s Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs in 2018.
Rohrbaugh, a York County native, graduated magna cum laude from the Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law in May. She served as an articles editor for the Drexel Law Review during her last year. In addition to her two different part-time employment positions with Barley Snyder, she already has worked as a legal assistant at a Philadelphia-area firm; a legal intern with the New Jersey Attorney General, State Police, Corrections & Employment Division working in employment litigation; a judicial intern with Judge Anne E. Lazarus of the Pennsylvania Superior Court and as a legal intern with the Pennsylvania Board of Pardons. She was the vice president of the Kline School of Law Bar Association, and she donated pro bono assistance to the Homeless Advocacy Project and the Pennsylvania Innocence Project.
“Eric and Katelyn represent the best and the brightest of young attorneys joining the profession after successfully graduating law school,” Barley Snyder managing partner Jeff Lobach said. “It’s a challenging time for law firms, or any business for that matter, to grow. Our firm is thrilled to continue its growth with two talented, young attorneys with the desire and passion of Eric and Katelyn. We’re very pleased that we were able to bring them to the firm.”
