Barley Snyder Managing Partner Jennifer Craighead Carey Named to CPBJ Power Law List for Second Consecutive Year

Lancaster, Pa. – Barley Snyder is pleased to announce managing partner Jennifer Craighead Carey has as once again been recognized as one of Central Pennsylvania’s most influential legal professionals, earning a spot on Central Penn Business Journal’s 2025 Power Law List for the second consecutive year.

The CPBJ Power Law List recognizes the region’s most influential, respected, and forward-thinking leaders in the legal industry. Each year, the list highlights individuals who shape and strengthen Central Pennsylvania’s communities through their contributions to the legal and political landscape, helping to pave the way for future innovation and success. Honorees are selected by the CPBJ editorial leadership team with input from both readers and community members.

“I’m honored to be named to the CPBJ Power Law List for the second time, and to be recognized alongside such distinguished leaders in the legal industry,” said Craighead Carey. “It’s a privilege to serve the profession in a way that supports the growth and wellbeing of our communities across Central Pennsylvania.”

Craighead Carey is a member of the firm’s Employment Practice Group and chairs its Crisis Management Service Team. She concentrates her legal practice on management-side labor and employment law, representing a broad range of clients. As managing partner, she oversees the firm’s operations, strategic direction and growth initiatives. In 2024, she was elected the firm’s first female managing partner in its history and has been with Barley Snyder for more than 30 years.

A strong advocate for community development, Craighead Carey is actively involved in numerous initiatives throughout Lancaster County. She serves on the Lancaster City Alliance board, and as a member of the Millersville University College of Arts and Social Sciences Advisory Board, among other leadership roles.
