Malvern, Pa. – The Newtown Township Trails and Greenways Committee has appointed Barley Snyder partner Joseph Falcon III as a member of the group.
The Delaware County municipal organization implements the township’s 2020 Greenway and Open Space Network Plan. Its overall goal is to make the township a more walkable and accessible community, according to the township’s website.
“My family and I are big proponents of our township, and making it safe and attractive to everyone that lives here and visits,” Falcon said. “Numerous studies have shown an important part of that perception is what kind of walkability a municipality has. The township’s supervisors have crafted and approved a very good Greenway and Open Space Network Plan. I’m proud to be able to help oversee its practical implementation.”
Falcon is a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group and is a registered U.S. Patent and Trademark Office patent attorney. Recently, the American Bar Association named Falcon the chair for patent legislation. He formerly had been the vice chair of the group.
