Barley Snyder Partner Justin Tomevi Appointed to Eastern University’s College of Business and Leadership Advisory Board

York, Pa. – Barley Snyder is pleased to announce partner Justin A. Tomevi has been appointed to serve as a member of Eastern University’s College of Business and Leadership (CBL) Advisory Board.

The CBL Advisory Board provides advice to the Dean of the College on key strategic initiatives and programmatic planning under consideration. Advisory Board members serve in a volunteer capacity as ambassadors for the College’s programs, students and external partnerships. As a member of the Board, Tomevi will provide strategic input on proposed curricular updates, offer guidance on industry trends, facilitate community partnerships, and assist with fundraising objectives, in addition to other responsibilities.

“I am deeply honored to have been selected to serve my alma mater as a member of the CLB Advisory Board,” said Tomevi. “I look forward to sharing my insights and experiences as I work with my fellow Board members to grow and further advance Eastern University’s business programs in order to best serve its students.”

Tomevi is a 2009 summa cum laude graduate of Eastern University where he received a B.S. in Accounting & Finance. He has remained actively involved with his alma mater, serving as an Adjunct Professor for the University’s MBA and undergraduate business program since 2014, where he has taught courses such as Business Law, Business Finance and Data Informed Decision Making.

Tomevi is a partner in Barley Snyder’s Litigation Practice Group with more than a decade of experience. He assists businesses, institutions and individuals in identifying and managing litigation risk, resolving disputes, and achieving their objectives. He frequently navigates challenges on behalf of his clients in both state and federal courts in Pennsylvania, Maryland and the District of Columbia. Tomevi earned his juris doctor with a Business Law concentration from Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law where he graduated with honors.

Tomevi has received numerous honors for his legal acumen and community service, including recognition by the Million and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forums and being named to Central Penn Business Journal’s 2023 Forty Under 40 list. Aside from his roles with Eastern University, Tomevi serves as general counsel for the YMCA of the Roses and as Secretary of its Corporate Board of Directors. He also teaches as an Adjunct Professor at Messiah University.
