Lancaster, Pa. – Barley Snyder is pleased to announce Partner Peter Faben has been named to the Moravian Center Adult Day’s board of directors.
The Moravian Center Adult Day provides a warm and welcoming setting to seniors in Lancaster, according to its website. The facility is run by a team of nurses, secretaries and administrative professionals who serve older adults in need of daily personal care.
“This organization is essential for families with loved ones who wish to maximize their independence but need a safe and social environment during the working hours,” said Faben. “I have seen the dedication from the reliable and positive staff firsthand and their compassion is unparalleled. I look forward to serving on the board and working to keep this program thriving in downtown Lancaster.”
In addition to his involvement with Moravian Center Adult Day, Faben is a board member of the Hempfield Foundation, the secretary of Advoz’s board of directors, and a member of the Touchstone Foundation’s Access Committee. Faben also serves on the American Cancer Society’s Fire & Ice Event Planning Committee.
“I am inspired by Peter’s genuine interest in helping members of our communities gain access to important resources,” said Partner and Health Care Industry Group Chair Kathy Kravitz. “I am excited that he has been named to the board and look forward to hearing more about his contributions to the Center.”
Faben is a partner in Barley Snyder’s Health Care and Litigation groups. He focuses on the defense of health care facilities, physicians and other health care providers in medical malpractice litigation. He also works with clients on HIPAA compliance and state regulatory compliance and proceedings.
