York, Pa. – Barley Snyder is pleased to announce that the York Legal Record has named partner Justin A. Tomevi the chair of its publication board.
The York Legal Record is the publication of the York County Bar Association (YCBA). Each week it informs the association’s attorneys of relevant opinions in the county. The board is responsible for its weekly publication, for setting policy regarding publication and for establishing fees for legal and commercial advertisements.
Tomevi was previously the board vice chair and has been on the board since 2016.
“The York Legal Record is an important tool for the county’s legal community,” Tomevi said. “It also serves as the YCBA’s largest revenue generator that funds all of the important work that that it does in the community.”
Tomevi is a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group, as well as its Trusts & Estates Practice Group, the COVID-19 Response Service Team, the Construction Industry Group and the Transportation, Distribution & Logistics Industry Group.
He has been named a “Rising Star” by Pennsylvania Super Lawyers each year from 2016 to 2020. He is a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. In addition to his new board of directors position with the York and York County YMCA, Tomevi is also an adjunct faculty member at Eastern University, a former member of the Springettsbury Township Board of Supervisors, the former vice chair of the York Area United Fire and Rescue Commission and is a Leadership and Mentorship York graduate.
