Lancaster, Pa. – Barley Snyder is pleased to announce the promotion of Meghan Neff to Chief Strategy Officer.

Since 2015, Neff has served as Director of Business Development, leading the firm’s marketing, business development and communication efforts. In her new role, she will continue to oversee those operations in addition to dedicating more time to research and analysis of the professional and business environment. Neff will be directly involved with firm leadership in developing strategy and executing its vision.

“Barley Snyder is an exceptional firm with a well-charted strategic direction, and I am honored to have been promoted to the role of Chief Strategy Officer,” said Neff. “Here at Barley, our priorities are people – our team members and the clients and communities we serve. Every day, I stand with our amazing team working to provide the highest levels of service and helping to guide and enhance our firm’s strategy. I am excited to take on new challenges and look forward to the opportunities that lie ahead.”

Neff has fifteen years of experience in the legal field. Beginning as a legal assistant, she quickly advanced to working as a paralegal and then a paralegal coordinator. Prior to joining Barley Snyder, Neff served as Firm Manager for a Pottstown-based law firm. She earned her associate degree in Paralegal Studies from The PJA School and her bachelor’s degree in Business from Immaculata University.

“Meghan has a rare ability to make valuable connections across our professionals, practice areas, and markets to optimize our efforts and build our client base while developing our brand to an extent that has not previously been achieved,” said Managing Partner Jeff Lobach. “She is extremely well-suited to this new role, and we are confident that she will guide our strategic decision-making and help the firm continue to grow thoughtfully in and beyond our current footprint.”

Chief Operating Officer Dorothy Rund stated that “Meghan’s commitment to growing our visibility has left an indelible impact on Barley Snyder. I have the utmost confidence in her ability to develop and execute effective strategies across the firm. We appreciate her unwavering dedication to promoting our legal services while remaining a strong confidant across our teams. We very much look forward to her future success at the firm.”

Outside the firm, Neff is committed to giving back to her community while paving the way for future leaders. She served as a mentor for Lancaster Chamber of Commerce’s Discovering Paths Mentor 2022-2023 Program designed to help students find a successful career path through positive relationships, networking and hands-on learning. Neff provided one-on-one mentorship to a high school student from a local school through activities like job shadowing, special educational opportunities, and professional development.  Neff is also a member of the Lancaster County United Way Leadership Giving Society.
