For Immediate Release

York, Pa. – Barley Snyder is pleased to announce that attorney Michael J. Crocenzi has been named to the board of directors of LifePath Christian Ministries, better known as the York Rescue Mission.

LifePath Christian Ministries is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, faith-based organization that works to “love, honor and serve our struggling neighbors at their point of need and holistically equip them to flourish in the community,” according to its website. In 2017, the group reported that it served more than 180,000 meals, provided almost 37,000 nights of shelter and had nearly 850 volunteers log almost 13,500 hours of service in support of its mission.

“The work LifePath Christian Ministries does is a very important service to the community, and to society in general,” Crocenzi said. “Helping those that need help at very crucial times in their lives is something I’ve always believed in and tried to practice in my own life. I’m very happy and humbled that LifePath would bring me in to play a role in overseeing the organization and planning its future.”

Crocenzi, an of counsel at the firm, joined Barley Snyder in 2017 and is a member of the firm’s Employment Law Practice Group. He is a former member of the board of directors at Bethesda Mission in Harrisburg, and that group named him its “Volunteer of the Year” in 2017.
