Lancaster, Pa. – Barley Snyder partner David J. Freedman has been named the vice president of the board of directors at the Lancaster Bar Association.
This is his second time as vice president of the association. He previously served in the position in 2015.
The bar association promotes competence, ethics and collegiality of the legal profession, provides service to the public and provides the fair administration of justice in Lancaster County, according to its website.
“The Lancaster Bar Association is the steady rock that guides the legal profession in the county,” he said. “The level of support the bar association provides for all attorneys throughout the county is a shining example of how we can use our skill set as lawyers for the improvement of our community. I’m proud to help guide the bar association’s present and future.”
David is a member of the Barley Snyder Employment Practice Group, as well as the Employment Litigation, Immigration and Education groups. He also is part of the firm’s Hospitality and Food & Agribusiness industry groups. David also is a member of the advisory board at Church World Service Lancaster, a refugee resettlement and advocacy agency.
