Harry Eastman has practiced law in the Gettysburg and Adams County area for his entire legal career of more than 30 years, concentrating his law practice in the areas of municipal law, zoning and land use, real estate, and trusts and estates.
As his practice has evolved, Harry has gained experience in a variety of practice areas. He has served as the municipal solicitor for the Borough of Gettysburg since 1999, and he has served as the solicitor for the Borough of New Oxford for more than 25 years. He has also served as the solicitor for several zoning hearing boards, helping him to develop a zoning and land use practice for the last 30 years.
In his real estate practice, Harry has represented clients in both residential and commercial transactions. He has developed a practice representing clients in the historic preservation and agricultural conservation of real estate. To complement his real estate acquisition practice, Harry is a licensed title agent with Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Company.
Originally from northern Vermont, Harry moved to Gettysburg in 1988 and joined a well-established Gettysburg law firm while raising a family with his wife, Janet, and immersing himself in the Adams County community. He has served and currently serves as a director on boards of nonprofits and community service organizations.
