ancaster, Pa. – Barley Snyder Partner Jennifer Craighead has been elected to serve on the board of the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce & Industry starting in 2017.
Craighead’s three-year term on the board will begin Jan. 1. The chamber’s mission is to build Lancaster County into a “model of prosperity for 21st century America.” The chamber has almost 2,300 member companies that employ more than 117,000 people.
“It is a true honor to be selected to one of the board positions at Lancaster County’s most important business group,” Craighead said. “For years, the chamber has helped guide the economic vision and direction of Lancaster County and been an instrumental force in the county’s overall growth. Being a part of the board is a great responsibility to help shape the future of the region.”
In addition to the chamber, Craighead has a wide array of volunteer experience on community boards and foundations throughout Lancaster County. That includes service as former chair of the board of directors at United Way of Lancaster County.
At Barley Snyder, Craighead chairs the firm’s Employment Law group and focuses her practice in the areas of labor and employment law as well as school law.
