Barley Snyder, a law firm of more than 130 attorneys, has several openings for its Summer Associate program.
Barley Snyder has held to an obligation to help mold the next generation of exceptional attorneys. In that spirit, the firm is committed to its comprehensive and competitive summer associate program that includes as many as 3+ hires each year. In their time here, the summer associates receive real-world legal experience, rotating through our central Pennsylvania offices over eight weeks. The firm awards students meaningful exposure to a variety of assignments across our nine practice group areas and six industry groups. In addition, we invite all of our summer associates to firm events and mixers and allow them the chance to network within central Pennsylvania’s vibrant business and legal community.
The program is designed to help the summer associate learn about life within the firm and would also allow the opportunity to accompany our attorneys to depositions, client meetings and court appearances. The lawyers at the firm are encouraged to participate in the program, giving aspiring attorneys the opportunity to work with one of the most diverse and experienced staff of attorneys in all of central Pennsylvania.
The program is open to students who will have finished their second year of law school. Ideal candidates will have demonstrated academic excellence in college and in law school, plus have ties or a strong connection to our local communities.
