Kim is a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. Kim’s wealth of experience as a litigator in both the private and public sector gives her a unique perspective to practicing law.
Before joining Barley Snyder, Kim practiced at a small law firm in York where she specialized in the the areas of insurance defense, civil litigation and criminal defense. Prior to moving to private practice, she served as Senior Deputy Prosecutor for the York County District Attorney’s Office where she managed one of the office’s general trial teams. While at the District Attorney’s Office, Kim gained valuable litigation experience and handled countless jury trials that resulted in several noted convictions for the Commonwealth. Kim started her legal career as a law clerk for the Honorable Joseph C. Adams in the York County Court of Common Pleas.
Kim is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University where she majored in Political Science and minored in Sociology and World Literature. She continued her education at the University of Baltimore School of Law where she received her Juris Doctorate. While attending the University of Baltimore School of Law, she served as President of the Women’s Bar Association and as the Comments Editor to the University of Baltimore School of Law’s Journal of International Law.
Outside of the firm, Kim enjoys spending time with her husband and three sons, traveling, and cheering on her favorite football teams.
