Media-Upper Providence Free Library of Delaware County Names Barley Snyder Attorney Lin Floyd to Board of Trustees

Malvern, PA – The law firm of Barley Snyder is pleased to announce that attorney Lin Axamethy Floyd has been named to the board of trustees for the Media-Upper Providence Free Library. Lin will serve a three year term on the Finance Committee and brings non-profit board experience from Delaware County Habitat for Humanity and The Southeastern Pennsylvania First Suburbs Project.

Lin is an Of Counsel member and a U. S. Patent and Trademark Office registered patent attorney in the firm’s Intellectual Property Law group. Lin’s practice draws on an extensive in-house corporate career focused on patent preparation, prosecution, and patent portfolio management and analysis. Lin focuses her practice on biotechnology, as well as chemical, medical, and agricultural products technologies.

Lin received her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law and her Bachelor of Science (B.S.) from the University of Rhode Island.

The Media-Upper Providence Free Library (MUPFL) is a nonprofit organization providing materials, activities, and services for the public’s educational, recreational, cultural, and vocational needs. The Media Library Association was organized by the Woman’s Club of Media in 1901. The Library became a member of the Delaware County Library System in 1981. On July 16, 2016, MUPFL will celebrate the opening of its new, state-of-the art building, located at 1 East Front Street, Media, PA.
