Lancaster, Pa. – Barley Snyder officially has arrived in Schuylkill County, where the firm opened its 10th office this week. The new, state-of-the-art Schuylkill Haven office is the farthest north the law firm has reached with a physical presence in its history.
The office is located at 950 E. Main St., in the Miller Bros. Construction complex. The office is now fully staffed with two full-time lawyers – partner David H. Rattigan and attorney Michael W. Fox – and a full-time assistant.
The Schuylkill County market is “primed for growth,” Barley Snyder managing partner Jeff Lobach said. He emphasized the move couldn’t have happened without Rattigan and Fox committed to expanding the office and introducing the Barley Snyder reputation in the county.
“Schuylkill County is familiar territory for us. Many of our attorneys have worked successfully there already, and it’s similar to many of our other markets where we’ve been able to help businesses prosper,” Lobach said. “We’ve seen first-hand the business growth in Schuylkill County, and we want to help sustain that growth for the good of our clients and the entire community.”
The new office will have a ribbon cutting celebration at a date to be determined.
Rattigan and Fox both joined Barley Snyder in the summer with an eye on moving into the Schuylkill Haven office when it opened. The pair moved into the office on Oct. 4.
Rattigan is an experienced business attorney who also is a certified public accountant. For more than 35 years of his career, he’s worked with families and businesses in business formation and operation, succession planning and estate planning and administration. He’s also worked with commercial real estate development, financing and leasing.
Fox is a Lebanon County native who returned to the region in 2017 after working as a real estate attorney in Philadelphia, following his graduation from Temple University Beasley School of Law.
