Reading, Pa. – Barley Snyder is pleased to announce that partner Troy Rider has been named to the Reading Eagle’s first 40 under 40 list, a group that represents some of the best and brightest young professionals in Berks County.
Those included on the list are recognized as “outstanding leaders in the Berks County region who are excelling in their organizations through their leadership roles,” according to the Berks County media outlet.
“It’s an honor to be part of this list,” Rider said. “When I look up and down the list at the other people honored and see both peers and friends, I know the future is bright for Reading and all of Berks County.”
Rider has been an attorney at Barley Snyder since 2007, and the firm named him a partner in 2016. He is part of the firm’s Business, Finance & Creditors’ Rights, Real Estate and Food & Agribusiness groups and is also is chair of the firm’s marketing committee.
He is a 2009 graduate of Leadership Berks and has volunteered for six years with the YMCA of Reading and Berks County, where he is a member of the board of directors. Each year he participates in “Marsh Madness,” a polar plunge-type event where he jumps into a Berks County lake in March to benefit the YMCA. He also chairs the YMCA’s golf tournament committee.
A Duquesne University School of Law graduate, Rider also volunteers as a focus area panel committee member for the United Way of Berks County.
