For Immediate Release
Gettysburg, Pa. – Barley Snyder is proud to announce that attorney Jennifer McKenrick Stetter, an associate in our Hanover and Gettysburg offices, has been named to the board of directors at Main Street Gettysburg.
Stetter’s new membership on the board is part of the firm’s dedication to the Gettysburg community. Barley Snyder opened its seventh regional office in Gettysburg this summer, and has immediately immersed itself in the community. The firm’s new office is in downtown Gettysburg at 19 E. Middle St.
In addition to Stetter’s volunteer work with the board at Main Street Gettysburg, the firm also made a $1,000 donation to the organization that has committed itself to the preservation and revitalization of historic Gettysburg for the benefit of its citizens, businesses and visitors.
“An organization like Main Street Gettysburg is essential to the future of the town,” Stetter said. “There is a mix of historic preservation and forward-looking development that needs to be achieved going forward in the borough, and Main Street Gettysburg is one of the groups leading the charge to strike that balance.”
Stetter is now the lone attorney on the board, making her a significant addition to the 12-person body.
“Balancing both the significant history that occurred here in 1863 with the special 21st century needs of the town requires strong leadership and the creative talents of Main Street Gettysburg’s board members,” Deborah Adamik, president and CEO of Main Street Gettysburg, said. “That’s why we are so pleased to welcome Jennifer to our board of directors. In addition to her legal expertise, Jennifer brings an enthusiasm and commitment to the both the organization and the town. We are also excited to welcome Barley Snyder to our downtown family on East Middle Street.”
