Lancaster, Pa. – Two of Barley Snyder’s newest attorney hires learned this month they have passed the Pennsylvania Bar Exam, and the firm has named both full-time attorneys.
Derek J. Rowe and Cody Witmer had both been working at Barley Snyder pending their bar exam results. Rowe joined the firm in March, and Witmer began working at Barley Snyder in September. Rowe already had passed the bar exam in New York.
Rowe is a Duke University School of Law graduate who worked as a sports agent before coming to Barley Snyder. He is a member of the firm’s Finance & Creditors’ Rights Practice Group.
Witmer is a former summer associate at Barley Snyder. He returned to the firm after graduating from Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law in May. He is a member of the firm’s Personal Planning Practice Group.
“Both Derek and Cody already have shown they have very promising futures ahead of them,” Barley Snyder managing partner Jeff Lobach said. “We’re very happy to have them at Barley Snyder, and we congratulate them on this very important achievement in their careers.”
The central Pennsylvania natives were part of a pool of 1,270 test takers, with a little more than 73 percent passing the exam.
